Cookie Policy
Effective date: September 1, 2026. Last updated: September 1, 2026.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website when you visit it. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently, to remember your preferences, and to provide information to website operators. Similar technologies — such as local storage, session storage, and pixel tags — work in a comparable way and are collectively referred to as "cookies" throughout this policy.
How we use cookies
We use cookies in three categories, described below.
1. Essential cookies
These cookies are strictly necessary for the platform to function. They enable core features such as authentication and security. You cannot opt out of essential cookies while using the Service.
| Cookie | Purpose | Provider |
|---|---|---|
| __clerk_* | Authentication and session management | Clerk |
| __cf_* | Security, bot protection, and DDoS mitigation | Cloudflare |
| seerian.consent.analytics.v1 | Remembers whether you accepted or declined analytics, so we do not ask again. Stored in local storage | Seerian |
2. Analytics cookies
These cookies help us understand how visitors interact with the platform so we can improve the user experience. They store pseudonymous identifiers, a random device or session id rather than your name, and we report on the results in aggregate. Pseudonymous is not the same as anonymous: the identifier still relates to you, so this data remains personal data and the rights in our Privacy Policy apply to it. You may disable analytics cookies through our consent banner.
| Cookie | Purpose | Provider |
|---|---|---|
| _ga, _ga_* | Distinguishes visitors and sessions to measure site usage | Google Analytics |
| AMP_<id> | Stores the pseudonymous device id and session for a returning visitor | Amplitude |
| AMP_MKTG_<id> | Records the campaign or referrer a visit arrived from | Amplitude |
| ph_<id>_posthog | Stores the pseudonymous device id and session for a returning visitor | PostHog |
3. Marketing cookies
Marketing cookies are used to deliver advertisements and measure campaign effectiveness. We do not currently set any marketing cookies. No advertising or retargeting tags are loaded on this site. The campaign attribution recorded by AMP_MKTG_<id> is listed under analytics above, because it measures where visits come from rather than targeting advertising to you. Should that change, these cookies would be opt-in and we would not set them without your explicit consent.
Managing your cookie preferences
You have several ways to control how cookies are used:
- Consent banner — on your first visit, a banner asks whether to allow analytics cookies. No analytics cookies are set until you accept, and declining leaves them unset. Either answer is itself recorded, in the local storage entry listed under essential above, so that we do not ask you again.
- Changing your answer — the Cookie settings button on the Cookie Policy page reopens that banner at any time. Withdrawing switches the analytics tags off and deletes the analytics cookies listed above. Essential cookies are unaffected, including the record of your choice, which is what remembers that you withdrew.
- Browser settings — most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies through their settings. Please note that disabling essential cookies may prevent the platform from functioning correctly. For guidance, refer to your browser's help documentation.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy periodically to reflect changes in the technologies we use or applicable regulations. Material changes will be communicated via the consent banner or by email to the organisation administrator. We encourage you to review this page regularly.
